Cultivate The Love For Learning
It is important that your child see that you enjoy learning as parents, which you love to find information as well.
One of the effective ways to encourage and motivate your child so that he enjoys studying is when reading the newspaper, it is great to be able to share your love for learning with him, something new that you have enjoyed.
Reading is another effective way that it is important to instil but parents need to get involved.
For example, if parents want to encourage the child to enjoy information reading newspaper articles, then it should be sharing. In this way, it will motivate the child to love the learning process.
To love learning is also to be curious, that is what you want, where your mind goes I want to find out why, how, what if. These are the some of the effective ways of question formation we plant in our children. Even if you are reading newspaper, when you are sharing and asking more questions, that encourages and motivate children want to seek information.
If you happen to be working on homework, for instance, doing comprehension on a holiday. Before you even start writing, it is more effective when you start sharing the experiences on the holiday first, something that your child is able to relate to. So now after sharing, it is so positive and wonderful that it motivates the child now to have a learning mindset on wanting to work on it.
When helping children to develop that love for learning is to get the child curious. So for comprehension always start looking at question first. Because that effectively engages the brain as it is motivated to find out the answers.
Create a positive environment to encourage your children where there is laughter and express positive statement like “Wow! Isn’t this fun”. Or at the end of the learning session, if your child is studying on its own, you may want to motivate him and say “I’m so proud of you that you are really taking your study seriously!” These are the positive reinforcements that would effectively encourage your child to enjoy the process of learning and develop the love to study more.
